First ever Pride walk PCMC (Pune) details, Pimpri Chinchwad Pride march December 2018

FIRST LGBTI PRIDE WALK in PCMC (Pune) (Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) on 16th December 2018 !
Organized by : Anil Ukarande
Anil Ukarande, a law student and volunteer of Samapathik Trust, have organised, under the mentorship of Bindumadhav Khire, the first LGBTI pride walk of PCMC (Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation).
The objective of the LGBTI Pride Walk is to express our gratitude to the Supreme Court judges for their unanimous judgment in reading down IPC377.
The LGBTI Pride Walk is funded by the Bindumadhav Khire Queer Seed Fund Initiative 2018.

The details of the Pride Walk are as follows-
Date: 16th Dec 2018.
Time: Start of Walk- 10.30 am. End of Walk- 11.30 am (Note: It will be starting at 10.30 am SHARP as all participants  have to windup the walk by 11.30 am) 
Start of Walk from: Nano Homes (Next to Sant Tukaram Maharaj Bridge, Ravet) onwards to Dr. Ambedkar Chowk  onwards to D. Y. patil College onwards to  Friends Corner - U Turn - D.Y. Patil College to Dr. Ambedkar Chowk to Nano Homes.

DOs and DONTs:
1. The Police have, in writing, banned use of any plackards, slogans, images related to Castes, Religions, Political Parties, Leaders, Country, State and those which will disrupt peace and harmony. The slogans/placards will have to be on LGBTI related topics only. We will be issuing xerox copies of slogans that can be used. 
2. People who come by bikes/cars will have to park their vehicles at appropriate parking spaces only. Those found parked
elsewhere will have to pay fine for wrong parking / for causing traffic jam.
3. PCMC is more conservative than Pune, so please dress and behave properly. Do not expose your breasts, crotch, butt.
Do not make obscene gestures. You will only get respect if you are respectable. 
4. No dhol-tasha, no dancing, no firecrackers, no vehicles, floats and weapons allowed in the pride walk.
5. You can bring your organisation banners or wear t-shirts of your organisation.
6. You cannot distribute any promotional material either for Free or for a Charge.
7. You cannot sell any merchandise or services at the Pride Walk.
8. After the pride walk kindly do not linger at the place as it causes traffic jams.
9. Please obey the instructions of volunteers, Police Permission conditions and follow traffic rules.
